NO SEW PILLOW SUPPLIES:
- 2 Plain Throw Pillows ( I used 24″ pillows)
- 2 Bathmats (I would mine at Target under $30)
(TIP: Pick a bathmat that has a rubber backing so it doesn’t shed too much when you cut it.) - Fluffy Yarn
- Yarn for your Pom Poms
- Pom Pom Maker (A must have tool!!!)
- Fabric Glue
- Scissors
How to Make an Anthro Dupe Pillow (Style #1)
Step 1:
- Grab your pillow and a bathmat and cut “3” strips in whatever width and length you like the best.
Step 2:
- Glue your bathmat strips onto your pillow. (shown above)
Step 3:
- Glue a piece of yarn around each cut stripe. I used a fluffy yarn for this part.
This will add a so much style to your Anthropologie style pillow!
Step 4:
- Now Add a Pom Pom on each corner to finish it off.

How to Make an Anthropologie Dupe Pillow (Style #2)
Step 1:
- Grab your pillow and cut a rectangle strip about 2 1/2″ wide.
Step 2:
- Cut 9 squares from the long strip
I used pink and yellow bathmats to make my squares in alternating colors.
Step 3:
- Grab your fabric glue and secure the square evenly on our pillow.
You can always sew your pillow. But, this fabric glue is amazing and a total time saver!
I’ve been using it for years!
Step 4:
Next, glue a thick yarn around each square.
This will make it look like circles. How cool is that!
Step 5
- Now take an alternating color and add it around a few of the circles with your fabric glue.
And that’s it!!!!
