Learn how to make 3 DIY Halloween Decor projects using items from the Dollar Store. Step-by-step video tutorial included.
Since my kids are all grown up and it’s just my hubby and me…we really don’t go all out with the Halloween decorations.
How about you? Do you decorate for Halloween or do you sprinkle a few things in to your Fall Decorating?
I love decorating for Fall and sprinkling in some Halloween Decor that is more stylish….not spooky!
DIY Spider Pumpkin for Halloween Decor
The first indoor Halloween decorations DIY project is a non carve pumpkin project using colorful spiders.
This is a great DIY to make with your kids too. It’s super cute and not scary at all!
Start by painting 2 coats of paint to your little spiders in assorted colors.
Next, grab your pumpkin and put on a few coats of white paint.
After your spiders and pumpkin are both dry it’s time to add your little spiders with hot glue.
There’s only a few steps to make this DIY No Carve Spider Pumpkin.
Now spray a coat of Mod Podge to your pumpkin. Be sure to spray outside or in a well ventilated area.
SUPPLIES for DIY Halloween Spider Pumpkin

DIY Halloween BoHo Skull Vase
The second project is a BoHo Skull Vase DIY for your indoor Halloween Decorating and you can get most of your supplies at the Halloween DIY Dollar Tree.
For this DIY you’ll need some dollar store skulls, some dried flowers, and some acrylic paint.
Who knew you could make a skull look BoHo!!!
Grab a sharpie and make a circle at the top of the skull so you have a guide to cut out your Halloween vase opening.
Start buy cutting a circle out at the top of the head. I used an exacto knife that is used for carving.
You can use a knife…just be very careful cutting.
You’ll notice I turned the skull to it’s side and used my knife like a saw. This worked the best.
Be sure to watch the video to see how I cut the holes.
DIY Abstract Painted Halloween Pumpkin
The third indoor Halloween decorating ideas project is my favorite!
It’s an abstract painted pumpkin. All you will need is a faux pumpkin, acrylic paint, and your imagination for this Halloween DIY.

Grab some acrylic paint and start painting.
Imagine you are Picasso when you paint your pumpkin.
Don’t be shy…just keep layering your colors and blending them together.
I love how this Halloween pumpkin turned out! It’s so cool!
Now don’t stop here…
