Some of my favorite Mother’s Day gifts were handmade by my kids. They’re adults now but they still make me something for Mother’s Day. ?

This DIY is a super easy project that you can make for Mom!!! Your Mom will love it because you made it from the heart. ?

You can get most of your supplies from your local craft store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Or, you can improvise with some items you probably already have at home. Just be creative! OR you can click on the links below to order items. Keep in mind, if you want to order your supplies, you will be able to use everything when you make other DIY Projects…especially a glue gun which is a crafters “Must Have!”

Supplies you will need:

Step 1:

Remove the lid from your mason jar.
Use the circle portion of the lid as a template.
Trace and cut out the circle from your scrapbook paper choice.

Step 2: Hot glue the cutout onto the metal portion of the lid

Step 3: Add a bead of hot glue around the edge of the scrapbook paper circle.

Step 4: Screw on the outside lid rim to the circle before glue dries

Step 5: Hot glue velvet ribbon along outside of lid

Step 6: Next, hot glue pom pom trim on bottom of velvet ribbon

Step 7: Cut out strips of scrapbook paper.
Write on each strip of paper all the reasons why you love your Mom.

Step 8: Fold and add all your little notes inside the mason jar
Then write a note to your Mom and tie it with twine or ribbon to the outside of the mason jar.
I wrote: “This jar is filled with all the reasons I Love You Mom.”

Step 9: Now your personalized Mother’s day gift is ready to give to to your Mama. ?
